1. Agreement
By creating an account or using any part of Boo App you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. Definitions
“Boo App”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of boo-app.org. “You” means the account holder. “Companion” means a fictional AI character available inside Boo App. “Content” means messages, images and other material shown or submitted.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. Access from a jurisdiction where this kind of service is restricted is your own responsibility.
4. Nature of the companions
Companions are fictional characters generated by software. They are not real people, they do not represent real people, and nothing they say should be treated as fact, advice or a promise from Boo App.
5. Account registration
Registration details must be accurate and current. Impersonating another person or using false billing information is grounds for immediate closure.
6. Account security
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
7. One account per person
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing, reselling or operating multiple accounts to bypass limits or trials is not permitted.
8. Acceptable use
Use Boo App lawfully and for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Do not interfere with the platform, other users or the systems that run it.
9. Prohibited content
You must not submit or request material involving minors, non-consensual acts, real identifiable individuals, violence, hate, illegal goods, or anything designed to harass or defraud. Violations end the account without refund and may be reported.
10. Fair use limits
Message allowances, plan limits and rate controls exist to keep the service stable. We may apply reasonable throttling to accounts whose usage is far outside normal patterns.
11. Automation and scraping
Bots, crawlers, mass downloading, reverse engineering and any attempt to extract the underlying models or datasets from Boo App are prohibited.
12. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant Boo App a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to operate your conversations and support your account.
13. Our content
The Boo App name, interface, copy, design system and companion profiles are protected. You may not copy, republish or build a competing service from them.
14. Companion imagery
Images shown alongside companions are illustrative and computer generated. Any resemblance to an actual person is unintended, and the images may not be redistributed.
15. Free access
Free features may be adjusted, limited or withdrawn at any time. Free access carries no service level guarantee.
16. Paid plans
Prices, inclusions and durations are displayed before purchase. Taxes may be added at checkout according to your billing location.
17. Billing and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period using the stored payment method until you cancel. Renewal prices are the prices published at the time of renewal.
18. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues to the end of the paid period.
19. Refunds
Except where local consumer law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable once access has been used. Duplicate or clearly erroneous charges are refunded on request.
20. Chargebacks
Please contact support before disputing a charge with your bank. Accounts with unresolved chargebacks may be suspended until the matter is settled.
21. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upgrades and events outside our control may cause downtime.
22. Changes to the service
Features, companions and interface elements may be added, altered or retired as Boo App develops. Where a change materially reduces a paid plan we will offer a fair remedy.
23. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, presents a security or fraud risk, or is required to be closed by law. You may close your account at any time.
24. No professional advice
Boo App is entertainment and companionship. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a crisis service. In an emergency contact local emergency services.
25. Third-party destinations
Links and buttons may lead to partner sites governed by their own terms. Boo App is not responsible for their content, pricing or practices.
26. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
27. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boo App is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
28. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Boo App against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
29. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country. Parties will attempt good-faith resolution before formal proceedings.
